YOUNG ADULT PROGRAMS
Spending time with peers while you’re experiencing loss can help ground you on your grief journey. At Wild Grief, we help you connect with other young adults, take in the immensity and wonder of nature, and find ways to reflect and heal.
If you’re age 19 to 25 and are grieving the loss of someone important to you, explore the ways we can help you find solace and meaning through experiences in the natural world:
All ages & Young Adult Day Hikes
Spend the day with others who are grieving, exploring the natural world on easy to moderate trails, sharing stories, eating together, and reflecting beneath the canopy. Hikes last between 3 and 6 hours and are led by our hiking guides, who are trained in outdoor leadership, first aid and grief support.
Young Adult Wilderness Trek
This 3-day backpacking trip is designed with community and reflection in mind, with time to get to know your peers and space to reflect on your grief journey. You’ll live outdoors, where you’ll hike, cook, sleep beneath the stars, and learn practices to help you navigate your grief.
